The Extensions folder

' OSBooster Extension' Obviously this extension is critical for OSBooster to function. Users of Apple's Extensions Manager should not turn it off in either their normal extensions set or the OSBooster set. Users of Conflict Catcher should only have OSBooster in their OSBooster extensions set.

Apple CD/DVD Driver needed if you intend to use CDs or DVD drives with OSBooster.

Apple Enet only needed if your Mac is connected to an ethernetwork and you need to use that interface with OSBooster.

Built-In Graphics Accelerator improves graphics performance of your Macintosh. Do no turn off.

Color Picker & Color Sync Extension Not normally needed. Might be used by some graphic design packages.

Contextual Menu Extension Unlikely to be needed by most applications. Turning it off will not cause any applications to fail.

Control Strip Extension. This may be useful to you, however it does slow down the Macintosh, we recommend turning it off. Some applications turn it off automatically. If this is the case, you should turn it off in the extensions set as it may still be affecting performance.

Default Calibrator is very unlikely to be needed except by graphics professionals. Turn it off.

Desktop Printer Spooler &Desktop Print Monitor only needed if you have desktop printers and you need to use them under OSBooster.

DNSPlugin is only needed if you are connected to a TCP/IP network that provides Dynamic Name Services and you need to use that network with OSBooster.

Foreign File Access. If you are using your CD or DVD drive with OSBooster, leave this turned on.

Internet Access helps applications find out what your internet settings are. Only turn this on if you need to access an internet with OSBooster.

Iomega Driver. Leave this on if you need to access Iomega zip or Jaz drives.

Location Manager Extension. Unlikely to be needed.

Microsoft Component Library &Microsoft Font Embed Library (PPC) are used by Internet Explorer - only turn on if needed.

Network Setup Extension. Only leave turned on if you need to use networking.

Norton Shared Lib. We recommend turning off all Norton Utilities.

Open Transport etc... These files are only needed if you need networking. Although some applications that use networking may fail if these are turned off - even if you are not using networking in that application. RealPC will not run if these files are turned off.

OSBooster Stub This is critical to OSBooster. You should always have it enabled in your normal extensions set and the OSBooster set. It has no effect whatsover when OSBooster is not running so there is no memory or speed penalty in leaving it enabled.

Printer Share allows other networked computers to see a printer connected to your Macintosh. We recommend turning this off when using OSBooster.

PrintingLib &PrintMonitor Again, only needed if you need to print with OSBooster.

QuickDraw™ 3D etc... May be needed by games and/or your graphics card.
